How to get free UGC content from your customers
We’ve all heard of paying UGC creators $100-300 per video
But a lot of these videos end up being bad quality and overpriced
Here is how you can get FREE ugc content from your actual customers who already love your product and will do it for free
Before I get into this, if you want us to handle this all for you

Step 1: Collecting the UGC content
There are 3 ways you can do this:
Forms
Campaigns
Flows
Let’s get into each of them now 👇
1. Forms
You can put Klaviyo pop ups on your website asking people to create videos / reviews of your product
Have it set so that it only shows to your engaged or VIP segment - these are your best customers and they’ll be most likely to leave a video testimonial
You can have a popup for VIP subscribers if they want to be in a product testing group
You send them out the product before releasing and they make a video unboxing + reviewing it. Then use any good videos in your product launch emails for the same product

2. Campaigns
Only send these campaigns to VIP or engaged subscribers
Offering an incentive can be a great way to get people to create video testimonials for your brand
Here is an example of an Email Campaign I found online (this isn’t us):

3. Flows
You can also collect UGC content in flows
You can have an email asking for reviews in:
Post-purchase (after they receive it)
VIP welcome series
Again you can encourage your customers with incentives to create the videos
Step 2: Assessing the UGC content
Most of the videos will not be good enough to use on your website / emails etc
The average person isn't an expert on video production. But you CAN bring all of the clips from customers into a video editing software and edit them together
You can also hire people from Upwork or Fiverr to do this for you for cheap enough
Step 3: Promoting the UGC content
You can promote this content anywhere - in other emails, on social media or on your brand's website
You can ask your customers to promote it on their social media's too (E.g. if they post it on their story / post and tag you, you repost it on the brand's official Instagram)
You can also get them to use a specific hashtags for your brand too - think outside the box on this one. Have fun with it and aim to create a community for your product
